In Season 1 of "Making History," Dan (Adam Pally), a janitor, finds himself in 1775 and accidentally alters the course of history when he begins a relationship with Paul Revere's (Brett Gelman) daughter, Deborah (Leighton Meester). With the American Revolution in jeopardy, Dan takes it upon himself to ensure events unfold exactly as he remembers them. Enlisting Chris (Yassir Lester), a history professor from the college where he works, and revealing his true identity and the extent of his meddling to Deborah, Dan tries to get the universe back on track. As the trio jump through time meeting historical heroes and villains such as Sam Adams (Neil Casey), John Hancock (John Gemberling) and Al Capone (Tim Robinson), they must tread carefully or risk changing their realities forever.
