Tv Season Info

In Season 4, Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) crosses paths with former agent Daisy "Quake" Johnson (Chloe Bennet). Together, they investigate the worrying appearance of ghosts at a scientific facility. S.H.I.E.L.D are also on the trail, uncovering the mysterious Darkhold, a book of knowledge that is too much for a human brain to contain. With the world hanging in the balance, and Coulson (Clark Gregg), Robbie and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) missing, Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) turns to disgraced scientist Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah) for assistance. His covertly created android, Aida (Mallory Jansen), is capable of reading the book, but struggles to combine her core directives with the knowledge she gains. Going rogue, Aida replaces everyone who opposes her with Life Model Decoys and uploads their minds into a digital world. However, Daisy and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) are still human and infiltrate her systems to turn her carefully controlled universe upside down.

It doesn't disappoint.

To save Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., ABC needs to inject new leadership into the plot, and perhaps the show. The current showrunners play with the Marvel mythology rather than rendering it masterfully.

September 28, 2016 | Rating: 4/10 | Full Review…

If anything, as far as I'm concerned, the show is back on track overall, after a slightly off-kilter first half of the season, marred by splitting up the team too much for too long and an overtly dour tone.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is a really fun show with really fun characters. The addition of Ghost Rider could be the thing that finally makes the world at large realize that.

Ghost Rider and LMD tech deliver promising new territories for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s darker fourth year, including a surprising willingness to tap into Marvel's less glamorous mythologies.

September 20, 2016 | Rating: 8/10 | Full Review…

The big pull is the arrival of Ghost Rider, and I must say that his visuals looked incredible.
