The first in a planned series of shows detailing the Marvel universe, "Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock's day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities.

When D'Onofrio is allowed to be Fisk, to really embody the cruelty and spirit of the villain, he taps into a strain of excited fear, like the tingle you feel after lightning flashes but thunder hasn't yet struck.

This season is definitely a massive improvement over season two. Although, I would argue that it is not as good as season one. Even still, the quality is still quite consistent. The acting is great, the story is great, the cinematography is great; and this season even introduces some intriguing new villains, plot-lines, and other characters. However, I would have preferred if Daredevil had an actual suit in this season. I suppose it makes narrative sense why he didn't, but it almost felt like a step down from season two in that regard.

Watch The Defenders before this third season of Daredevil, otherwise you'll feel like you've missed something. Otherwise, the quality is still high, even if things aren't moving at the same pace as the first season. Guardate la serie The Defenders prima di questa terza stagione di Daredevil, altrimenti avrete la sensazione di esservi persi qualcosa. Per il resto, il livello è sempre alto, anche se le cose non si muovono più alla velocità della prima stagione.

Daredevil season 3 is the best season of Netflix Marvel so far andI don't think the remaining ones could top this. We start from a pretty bad place, where I didn't really enjoy watching the show, but with great arcs, unpredictable story elements, my interest rose from episode to episode. And than we got the the 4th one. That was absolute television, one of the best episodes I've ever seen. After that there was no stopping, just pure chaos. I loved it.
