April and Sarah are there to make their vision for a fun boutique motel come to life for as low a budget as possible. If you see it in that light, Motel Makeover can be an enjoyable series. Go to Full Review

Lyssa B 12/28/2023 Obnoxious doesn't begin to cut it with these girls. So much about them annoys the bejeezus out of me, but what makes the show absolutely unwatchable (as in i'd rather stab myself in the eye with a dull pencil) is both of their voices!! Omg nails on a chalkboard is pleasant by comparison! It's vocal fry meets uptalking meets MAJOR 90's valley girl ala Clueless meets airheaded bobbleheads meets nails on a chalkboard. They make my teeth hurt listening to their cringey campy intonation and speech fallacies. Just YUCK! See more Tony B 12/20/2023 The most annoying hosts of a show I've ever witnessed. Their voices, conversations, and design choices are awful. See more 04/13/2022 If I could watch this with the volume turned off and learn their techniques I would. The issue is the vocal fry and Connecticut snobby uptalk tones killlll my soul. The concept is good but the woman with brown hair sounds so uptight and inauthentic, while the blonde woman sounds like she really wants to come from an elite social circle but was not fully invited in. I'm more distracted by their personalities so it's tough to watch. I love supporting women but real ladies, not bo ho Coachella fans wanting to sip Kampucha and sparking wine in a town that the average joe can't afford a $200 room. See more 02/11/2022 Absolutely love this series. The imagination of these two women is incredible. Very creative, very different, inspiring and fun. The only down part (and loss of star) is the fact that these two grown women, nearing 40 tend to behave as though they are high school cheerleader stereotypes! Lot's of 'Ooowheee's' and catchphrases that kind of spoil the vibe. I'm really not sure if they are just like that or if it is some kind of an act? You know, two gormless girls just happen to create great hotels and it is part of the storyline? If you can get past that it's a great show. I read that they have been doing this since 2016 and both had very good jobs before this so they are not as ditzy as they would have us believe! I also do wonder who will dust all of those plants they put out? Just a thought. See more melanie k 01/04/2022 Practically unwatchable. Having such unlikeable women as the stars was a terrible choice. They seemed entirely too disinterested in understanding the difficulties the people actually working on their reno faced acquiring materials and such in the face of a pandemic. This is certainly not a good look on them. See more wee peng h 09/21/2021 Absolutely trash. The valley girl accent, the vocal fry and the way they behave are repulsive. Watch something else please.
