Both the photographers’ work and the television show’s footage are striking—gorgeous and revealing images that sometimes linger, and other times slip past in rapid montages that made me want to pause or go seek out their work to look at it more closely. It's amazing to have a chance to be so close to see how these photographers conceive and rise to the challenges in their work, from coming up with the story to tell to how to approach it visually.
