See more 09/29/2021 There isn't anything to say about these shorts. They're just amusing minute-long Pixar shorts that allow you to revisit some of your favourite Pixar worlds in a brief amount lf time. It's understandable the brevity might result in complaints about how these are nowhere near as good as the other more elaborate Pixar shorts and there's the usual preference of some bite-sized segments over others (I liked the Soul and Incredibles shorts but didn't think much of the Toy Story 4 shorts, for instance) but these serve their purpose. Pixar Popcorn isn't here to teach you any meaningful lessons and it seems odd that these are Disney+ exclusives when they're short enough that they could've easily just been uploaded to YouTube for free on Pixar's channel but, while not exactly worth watching to see if any meaningful updates have occurred in your favourire Pixar worlds, they're harmless, entertaining fluff that deliver exactly what was asked of them. My God, I was hoping my review for these things would have same brevity as they do but old habits die hard, I guess. They were very disappointing!! See more 03/12/2021 Ever since they announced this series on Disney plus he was thrilled to see what they had done as shorts. I have to be honest, the end result is very disappointing. The characters don't speak and that bothered me a lot. The shorts were generally lazy and without anything really relevant. Soul in the city is easily the best short that could practically be understood as the real ending of the film. The animations, nothing to say, are wonderful, but I would have preferred to see some "old" films with new animations (like A bug's Life and Ratatouille). The pixar can do much better than that!
