suzi w Aug 6 We don’t watch TV, but we’re on vacation in the show came on. Sat down for a little bit and could not believe my eyes. This woman is an alcoholic… never without a glass of wine on her hand…, treats her staff poorly, and obviously has too much time on her hands. I can’t imagine anyone is actually this shallow and unaware. We nearly fell over laughing when she probably paid someone hundreds of thousands to paint a horrific mural that looked like a group of preschoolers were given watercolors and dirty paint brushes, and left alone for a few hours. The problem is her talented and respectful staff are so overshadowed by the fact that Rachel Ray acts like an evil shrew from beginning to end to not only her staff but also her mid-mannered husband. You actually see FEAR in their eyes when they talk about her visiting the job site. I am trying to figure out WHO thought allowing people to witness the REAL RR was a good idea for her reputation. I won’t be watching ANYTHING involving her again, and, despite my 2 cats loving Rachel Ray Nutrish cat food I am going to switch that too. She is such a horrible person with the team helping build her dream home. Not sue if she is drunk or just plain careless but her behavior killed the potential of this show. I had no idea Rachael Ray was this rude, condescending, negative and boorish to those around her. Comes across so self indulgent and entitled, not sure how her usual fans are going to feel about this Rachael Ray. Long ago when I watched her cooking shows I thought she was adorable, but whoa, not a trace of that left. I barely made it to episode 4, just couldn’t take her anymore. That poor Michael that is heading up her project has earned his place in heaven. I can only hope that Italian Government doesn’t ban Americans based on meeting her. See more Christina L 04/03/2024 I was so excited to watch this show. And within five minutes, I was slack-jawed at how incredibly rude, entitled, and just completely borish, Rachel Ray was. People on the show seem to run around, and coward behind others, in fear of being her next victim. Being insulted, yelled at or just plain abused. I know we should take a grain of salt with every TV show we watch and the personalities that are on it. But if I was her, I would be so ashamed of how I represented myself and my family to the world. I’m with everyone else, she won’t be getting any money for me for the rest of my life. It’s shameful how she treats her employees like that. It takes no extra effort to be kind of people.
