Raising Voices is smartly shaped, evocatively balanced and emotionally powerful. Driven by a quiet fury and a poignant empathy, it deserves to be high on every viewer’s must-watch list. Go to Full Review

We’re tentatively recommending Raising Voices because the story of what goes on with Alma... But we wonder if the show’s fractured storytelling and languid pacing is going to hold viewers’ attention long enough for that story to make any impact. Go to Full Review

Beyond certain venalities, lack of subtext, clichés, and sensationalist melodramatics, Raising Voices asserts itself as much more than a simple denunciation of the horrors of sexist violence. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

M Bruu @M_Bruu 01/20/2025 Its weird that a show about sexual abuse, normalizes more than half of the concerning behaviour in the series 1. She forgives (?) the friend that raped her 2. There are two shocking age gaps (police officer (31+) and 17 year old girl, and alma (17) and the friend's brother (23) 3. Alma's dad hits her 4. Boys in school attempts to grouprape the redhead?! But no, lets just focus on the teacher. So, most of the people dont raise their voices at all See more Parnil Y 10/09/2024 Realistic. Heartwrenching. Moving. The storyline is superb (can't believe a man wrote it). The screenplay is clever. All performances are so believable. A must watch for all women (and men too). See more Zorie R 08/21/2024 I loved it and great show. The point that at the end everybody stood up with her and trusted that she was telling the truth was amazing in itself. Makes me think of how many people are not speaking up. A true eye-opener. Brought me to tears See more Albertina O 06/23/2024 I could not stop watching. They need to put out another season. See more gen g 06/10/2024 I watched this show solely because of clara galle and nicole wallace. i knew i would thoroughly enjoy it, but i was shocked at how captivating it was. i couldn’t stop watching. and i think is something everyone needs to watch. rewatching as im typing this. #NiUnaMás See more WE LOVE M @welove 06/04/2024 At the beginning, I wasn't sure what to expect from this show; it seemed confusing at first. However, as I watched more episodes, I found myself completely captivated and eager to know what happened next. The ending profoundly impacted me, particularly because in my country, sexual assault is a taboo topic. Victims are often labeled as liars, and it becomes a matter of word against word. Perpetrators usually receive little to no punishment. These issues are generally met with silence, and sometimes I wonder if I can even use my voice, as it feels like no one takes me seriously. The way the show handled the ending brought me to tears, showcasing how these cases should be addressed. I NEEDED a show like this, and I can wholeheartedly say that I loved it.
