Amid all the think pieces about pickleball and phone calls goodnight, Scrubs presents a different vision of the cure to male loneliness -- no quick fix, no one correct path, just two friends choosing each other over and over again. Go to Full Review

The new “Scrubs” may not be essential TV in the way the original once felt at its cultural peak, but it’s thoughtful, frequently funny and occasionally disarming. Go to Full Review

In the Scrubs revival, though, all that look-at-me energy is finally restored to its rightful purpose, and the effect is delightful. These two are meant to be swaggily walking down hospital hallways together. Go to Full Review

Judy Reyes feels older, wiser, and more grounded. There’s a lived in quality to her performance that makes Carla feel like someone who has actually experienced the years between the original series and now. Go to Full Review

The Scrubs revival is off to an outstanding start: the brilliant chemistry is prominently featured, the humor still connects, and the heart is still very much a part of the show. Go to Full Review

Dustin S @Dusitn 1d Scrubs is one of my favorite shows ever and I want nothing more than to see more of it. But so far not a single revival short of maybe King of the Hill (Cartoon) has really come close to being good. This revival brings back most of the characters and integrates a series of ones. It's a bit "wokey" with the need to bring in a flamboyant nurse. The new doctors aren't fleshed out. Another senior doctor starts off pretty well and then he's bisexual and he's slept with everyone? Then we have a lack of a real connection with patients which was always the grounding and foundation of Scrubs. Despite all this, they did the impossible! It's a new season of Scrubs. Someone watch the original could skip the original season 9 and come right to this seamlessly and feel at home! Season 2 will need to stop come back to old jokes and references, but folks I'm blown away. They managed to bring back Scrubs in a way that nobody else can done on other shows. See more Rawiwan T @Pawnshopmovie 2d I was sceptical at first about continuing this classic with so many years gone by but I enjoyed every minute. I'm now rewatching the old seasons and thoroughly enjoying them too. Great decision by the producers to bring this back. Thank you! See more Shane D @RT72434379 Jul 30 Nice to see some of the original cast back together, and although it’s not the best of seasons, it’s certainly not the worse. I think the main issue is the number of episodes given: could easily of been fleshed out to 22 episodes like the good old days. The limited time just made the stories feel rushed with no time to develop before shoehorning in another plot. Dr Cox started off a bit flat and seemed bored in the first episode, likely due to the annoying HR character shutting him down, but has an emotional return near the end, reminiscent of season 5. Was waiting all season for the Janitors return but it kind of fell flat. Hardly in it and spent most of the time with a toaster. Bit of a strange gag, but the Janitor’s back, that’s all that matters. Hopefully Dr Cox and the Janitor will have more prevalent roles in the next season. They’ve captured some of the spark of the early seasons, and would rank it higher than any season after 6. See more Peter K @RT12708287 Jul 24 Went to it very skeptical. Liked the old one and this one gives the same vibes . Apart from the tablets and social media , it feels like the old one. See more Sabrina Y @SabriYo Jul 15 I thought it started off well but has tanked the last two episodes. See more Nancy C @tabitha3 Jul 10 It's been such a pleasure so far. So true to the og series and feels like they haven't missed a step. Really hoping foe the season 2 renewal announcement. See more Read all reviews
