Maul: Shadow Lord has beautiful animation and incredible action scenes. I’m fascinated by the new characters. They’re great additions to the universe and have a ton of personality. The voice acting is fantastic.

Beautiful animation and voice acting but limited plot? Seems a bit familiar/ unoriginal, and a major plot line isn't currently established, characters are already all connected so no opportunity for introductions later on to build suspense. The whole survivor jedi theme is repeated throughout star wars, but isn't as effective in this as it adds another couple of jedi who survived order 66, making it lose its effect as the jedi massacre from rots. Hopefully some cameos further into the series or links to other media besides the clone wars. I hope it ends around where we meet Maul in rebels. But a solid show so far, not desperate to rush to watch it every Monday, but not opposed to it.

I'm really enjoying the show so far (4 episodes in). I love Maul and the whole new cast. The atmosphere, animations, music, the fight sequences are all top tier. Maul Shadow Lord has everything what makes Star Wars great and is one of the best Shows Disney brought along. I can’t wait to see the rest of Season 1. A must-see for longtime Star Wars fans or fans of gritty crime series.

DESPITE Disney not wanting to leave Maul alone and focusing on a new Sith...this series is pretty DOPE!!!!! THIS is one of those RARE times Disney gets it it right.

There is two things I love about this series. The first one is graphics. This is, no joke, the best part. The second is droid twoboots. He is the only sane cop here. The rest of the series is terrible. First of all, why does it even exist? We know the beginning and end of Maul's story, we know he's a crime boss. Why do we need this endless chase that leads nowhere? The old Jedi is forgettable. I can hardly remember what he did throughout the series. Lawson doesn't want to involve the Empire, even though the situation is already out of control: half of his colleagues have been killed or wounded by Maul.
