Boasting one of the largest Latino populations in the United States, San Antonio is a city rich in Mexican culture and flare, making it a leading destination for Mexican nationals. This new docuseries follows a stylish group of San Antonio sophisticates as they balance busy social lives with the demands of raising families. It's told from the perspective of Penny Ayarzagoitia, who recounts events that lead to relationships unraveling and friends turning into foes. But these "Texicanas" also find many reasons to have a good time, whether it's afternoon margaritas, poolside mariachi parties, or getting dressed to the nines for a glamorous night on the town.

Penny and most of her San Antonio friends all continue to subscribe to unattainable ideas about beauty, family, and femininity that feel just as stale as the stereotypes they claim to be debunking. Go to Full Review

07/12/2022 I enjoyed it! I probably wouldn't have watched it if I wasn't home with Covid and from Texass too, but it was silly good fun. See more 05/17/2021 These woman don't represent, first off we are all Americans. All different nationalities, but we don't go around comparing. A true American know we are all different but yet so a like. Besides they are all average the only 2 woman who are really pretty are Karla and Luz. The rest are fake . They need makeup just to look attractive. I'm not a mean person but let's just be real. See more 07/17/2019 If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the most god awful show. These people are acting like SA socialites but they are nobodys. Lies about everything. Talentless. Irritating. It's degrading to Hispanic women and to the immigrants who work hard to live in this country. Shame on you Bravo. Cancel this immediately! See more 06/05/2019 I love this show! An awesome addition to Bravo's franchise. Keep the seasons coming! See more 05/22/2019 Let's give credit where credit is due: Bravo has perfected the formula for must-watch, binge-worthy reality TV. And the women of Texicanas, the latest in Bravo's seemingly endless roster of tawdry docuseries, are outwardly no different than the housewives of New York, Orange County, et. al, who've come before them: they're loud, they like to drink and party, and they have a penchant for dramatic arguments executed at top volume in public spaces. But unlike most of the women on Real Housewives, all of the women featured on Texicanas (which is set in San Antonio, Texas) have Mexican heritage in one way or another. Great show. See more 05/14/2019 TERRIBLE!! These woman are gaudy and tacky...no class! They certainly don't represent most Mexican America woman; poor representation. Cancel! See more Read all reviews
