She adds a lovely addition to the Home Design world and I'm really enjoying watching their show. See more rebecca w Apr 6 This is a good show that I did not expect to like so much! I did not think Heather would be so likeable and had big shoes to fill but she is great and very likeable! She has a great positive energy that adds to the show. She is evolving since she has become a Mom and is more relatable. I look forward to seeing her being more in charge since she is a smart, strong woman. Also enjoy seeing her dressing down during the flipping "work" and mom challenges. Go Heather! I hope that in season two Tarek will stop tearing Heather down and quit the trope-y lines about cost. Tarek can definitely be more dynamic and let go of the "man with the wallet" character. Heather is brilliant, kind and eager stop trying to clown her. Okay finished the season and they made a turn around. The dynamic is more balanced. Season 2 is off to an exciting start. As a longtime fan of Tarek's it's great to see how much he's evolved as a business mogul and a designer. From working out of his mother's garage to foreclosure auctions for small time flips and now creating and selling multi-million dollar homes is quite a journey. His business acumen, taste and style have really come a long way. It's fun to see. I have also enjoyed the insights into his personal life as well, he clearly loves his wife and family. How lovely to see genuine happiness and real affection on television. Rare. I'm glad they're doing a different show rather than a rehash of Flip or Flop. It's 2023 not 2013, everyone has changed, grown and moved forward with their lives - like people do. These are actual human beings not fictional characters, doing their best and simply living their lives. It's truly bizarre that so many reviewers seem to be angry about that.
