It pits fate against free will, and questions the fundamental elements of self. And it’s a potent reminder that actions, no matter how well-intentioned, have consequences. Go to Full Review

With another stellar season of The Legend of Vox Machina in the books, it feels like the Emmys should finally take notice. The animated showcase is a brilliant blend of action, comedy, and high fantasy epics. Go to Full Review

Taryon Darrington is such an airheaded diva who brings nice levity, whimsy, and silliness to balance out the tale’s more emotionally intense and violent side. Go to Full Review

Best season of the series, and that's saying something when every season has been excellent. The character development and arcs this season is so well written and stands out. Emotional, chaotic, perfect. Go to Full Review

[Season 4] emphasizes the long game. It highlights the dangers of letting anger fester. It tests the patience, optimism, and suspension of disbelief of its followers. It’ll also piss you off SO many times along the way. 100%. Go to Full Review

Michael K @Kohmik 2d So frustrating! I want to like this so much, but the writing is so childish. Why would Pike, a cleric and by definition the most wise and faithful of the bunch, be so so stupid, so compulsive, so short sided, and so faithless? Why would her god still grant her power? So the story can happen. In the early episodes why would they keep secret their fights with the undead? It felt like a sitcom plot device - just for a little bit of tension. I'm a critical role fan - I think as a group the stories you develop are more nuanced and you stay true to your characters, but you need some writing help. Stop going for the easy dramatic tension at the cost of your characters' identity. I turned off the last episode, and had a similar reaction last season. I'm sure I'll try again next season. Think if your roots. What would your character actually do in this moment? Instead of what should we have them to that would make some drama. See more RJ B @RJBrando 4d The slow start builds to a must watch Finale. See more Spencer E @RT86526247 5d Its truly insane that, season after season, Critical Role is able to take their DND campaigns and turn them into must-watch TV. S4 of the Legend of Vox Machina only continues that trend with deep themes, heartbreaking performances, and a way more intimidating Vecna than s5 of Stranger Things See more J V @jarover Jun 21 Among the most entertaining and worthwhile series I've ever watched.
