When the founder of the Boundary Mountain ski resort dies, he leaves the business to his namesake and grandson, David Carver Jr., who hasn't been home in a while and really doesn't want to be put in charge. Needless to say, this goes over really well with his older brother, Will, who's been there all along. And, oh yeah, there's a real estate mogul gunning for the property as well.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

The Mountain gets trapped under an avalanche of threadbare characterizations, humdrum drama, and an oppressively dreary tone.

With all that's going on, it's amazing the show manages to be boring. Part of the dreariness can be blamed on the show's lack of humor: Boundary Mountain has got to be the biggest group of one-dimensional depressives to ever populate a ski resort. Go to Full Review
