The Night Shift Season 2 has a lot going for it. Not only does it have a wonderful, talented and beautiful (inside and out) cast, it's bolstered by interesting medical cases and compelling relationships.

Emergencies are over the top in the best Grey's fashion - cars plow into wedding parties, a motorcycling couple are both impaled on a piece of rebar, breast implants turn out to be leaking bags of cocaine.

Audience Reviews for The Night Shift: Season 2

A cross between Grey's Anatomy and House! Love this show!

It doesn't have the desperation to save lives that ER had. It focuses too much on the love lives of the characters making them two dimensional. Medicine and saving people are what these characters chose to do as a job and yet it all plays second fiddle to personal DRAMA. What ER did was show us how doctors are people and how what happened in their lives affected how they practiced medicine. Night Shift doesn't do that. It doesn't make me care for people and it's so very boring.

I love watching the night shift. I understand that some parts of the tv show is far fetched for the medical field and especially in a emergency room. It makes you want to learn about the medical field when they are showing a trauma. The terms they use are legit and the situations could be possible. I am a nursing student and this is my favorite show to watch.
