These are vital, substantive conversations that should receive a broader reach. But perhaps the best we can hope for is that journalists with bigger audiences might be inspired by what Stewart is doing. Go to Full Review

Benny C @RT29951292 04/17/2023 Jon Stewart is an excellent interviewer challenging his guests. See more Corey W @RT31768611 03/27/2023 Jon Stewart is still the best on television, even after he spawned numerous quality copycats. The format is a little Bill Maher and a little John Oliver, a combination that suits Stewart perfectly. Viewers get to see him dole out the relevant information for each episode's topic in a way that harkens us back to The Daily Show, and then viewers get to see Stewart fight (a quality in him that has been appropriately lauded as of late) in panel and interview style bits. Stewart is, as always, well-read and sly in a way that he's honed since his Comedy Central days, but what sets this show apart from The Daily Show, and even the aforementioned copycats, is the interviewees that he nabs to be on the show. These are titans of industry or towering figures in American politics and the way in which Stewart gives no quarter throughout the interview process is reason enough to watch along. This season includes strange "bumps" at the beginning of each episode that tease moments to come and they look reminiscent of a TLC reality show. Outside of that one miniscule bit of not trusting his audience (we've already tuned into a news show in which the host will be talking about a serious, endemic problem facing the nation, you don't have to make it seem even more exciting with promos) this season is just as good as the last one. See more Greg H @NotSiskelAndEbert 10/14/2022 Not funny, biased, bigoted attacks on those he disagrees with…pretty pathetic and disappointing. See more gerd @RT62685918 10/08/2022 Jon Stewart (1999-2015), RIP. See more Sawyer M @RT14708703 10/07/2022 What a dud, this show couldn't be more cringe if they tried. See more Read all reviews
