Writing and actors are great. Could do without the overload of graphic sex scenes in Season 1 and 2. I understand it's about sex lives, but the lives of the girls are the most interesting. I just fast forward some of the sex scenes. They get tiresome and seem more lengthy than necessary.

No pun intended but it actually IS pretty fresh. I think the show really excels at differentiating itself from other YA shows (and that's difficult to do when it's so saturated with them). Funny, entertaining, and with interesting characters. Definitely check it out, you won't regret it.

while this show at times cringey, its cringey in a hilarious and meaningful but also realistic way - like being goofy with your best gal pals or best buds. The show also shows a more realistic college life, like the financial dissparities of one female character, another one is exploring her sexuality, all these themes all get balanced with realism and humour. The Diverse cast leads this show with Mindy Kaling and delivers. Her last hit "Never Have I Ever" is far worse than this by 20x. If you loved Never Have I Ever you will for sure love this one as production values, writing and acting are way better than other Kaling productions.
