It’s a very jarring departure in tone and pacing from the previous Interview. I get that it’s partly to account for the change in narrator, but it just loses something when everyone starts behaving so differently.

The show is so far from the way Anne Rice wrote because of this showing of total disregard to her writing style and trying to make it more hip for today’s viewers I have to read the entire vampire chronicles by Anne Rice to clear the images of this show completely from my mind and get the images back from when I read them the first time the only book accurate aspects of the show was Lestat and his music and the actor who played Armand. The sex is fine but from the chronicles Pandora was the one immortal who preferred human sex. The rest mostly shared blood as their sexual relationship what will they have next Akashi being bedded by Lestat. I’m done I won’t be watching it any longer and will have to cancel my AMC plus subscription so they won’t completely ruin the Mayfair witches for me.

This is the pinnacle of peak TV. Every single aspect of the show is incredibly well done. And the symbolism in the art and clothes and the lyrical writing and the beautiful musical scoring.
