anton j @RT53576276 10/12/2024 What a disappointment. Set against a beautiful Otago background and featuring two outstanding stars, from series 2 it was downhill all the way. The storylines resorted to multiple pregnancies, mystics, boring relationships and very little else. Under the vines should have been far more than this. An opportunity lost. See more Roger J @RT61881352 09/29/2024 Gibney and Edwards are both outstandingly good natural actors who convincingly, captivatingly and often comically helm this consistently delightful romp through a gorgeous rural idyll of New Zealand. The theme song is fabulous and sets a lively joyous tempo that dances thoughout the series. The supporting cast sparkles with a host of well written quirky characters and the strong cast make this a remarkable ensemble series. Rather like the bottle you casually pick up from the bargain bin at your local off licence and which surpasses all expectations when you finally take your first sip at home. I found this while browsing Netflix and couldn't believe the quality once I started to watch. Best viewed with a glass of your favourite white and paired with a dry cheese and sweet grapes to match the wit of the writing. Go on, treat yourself!
