See more Melissa S Mar 19 Totally a series you could easily binge watch in a day. This docuseries isn't about rehabilitation. It is a social experiment to see if those incarcerated was given the opportunity to go from being on lockdown 23 hours a day to having their cell doors unlocked, could they come together as a community and function as respectful members of society. It is a radical social experiment and a wonderful concept I think other facilities should consider. I believe Alex, another who left a review, has never been incarcerated and shouldn't be so harsh and judgmental. It could be you or a loved one sitting there one day. GREAT series! This show is not about rehabilitation. And of course, not locking up prisoners for 23 hours a day if they dont need to be is more efficient. What would be even more efficient is for them to work! the state could have those jails making a profit or at least not be wasting taxes on free room and board for convicts. hard work to work their bodies and at least cover their expenses... and history, biographies, and other non fiction to read at night to work their brains. with even a school of sorts where they have to write a book report or something every week.
