Jan 26, 2022An even better season than the 1st and great stepping stone into the 3rd one. Focuses on the drama as well as the humor.

Aug 02, 2021So may favorite season of this iteration of Voltron. Epic space battles goofiness it paid homage to the original. Hagar and Alluras fight wow was hoping we'd get an all out drag down fight later. Shiro in the lead ehhh needed more depth. changing Keith's personality didn't work particularly for me.

Apr 14, 2019Good until the very end of the last wpisode. There was no set up for that, in fact the story set up was for the opposite of what happed.

Mar 31, 2019Voltron keeps entertaining with the suspense in his finals.

Dec 22, 2018I loved it! Lots of people are gonna talk crap about the show, staff, and such, but I appreciate the representation and art they brought. They did leave a few big questions unanswered (important ones) and the ending felt was a bit rushed. But overall I loved it.

Aug 13, 2017Picking up where the first season left off, Voltron: Legendary Defender continues its winning streak with another round of beautiful animation, thrilling action sequences and a healthy dose of humour. It's true what they say, laughter is the best medicine. While it does bring back these positive qualities, it also brings a somewhat unexpected amount of drama. From Allura's prejudice against the Galra to the mysteries regarding Keith's past. While I usually have perfectly understandable prejudices against DreamWorks shows, yet watch their movies no problem, since they clearly look like they're targeted towards children, this show and Trollhunters are the two exceptions. I don't plan on wasting my time on those other shows anytime soon. This Netflix original manages to appeal to audiences of all ages without having audiences facing the requirement of being familiar with the original Voltron cartoon. If there were inside jokes to the original in either one of the two seasons, I missed them. Now, I'll get Season 3 out of the way before The Defenders finally arrives. That teaser trailer for the third season felt so...dramatic. I hope I enjoy it as most of the people who want to watch a giant robot/5 robo-lions fight aliens and blow everything up. Those explosions are more beautiful than half of the Baysplosions. I think I'm dragging on so I'm going to stop here. But trust me, Voltron: Legendary Defender is the only DreamWorks/Netflix show you're likely to enjoy, regardless of age, aside from Trollhunters. I don't know about Dragons: Race to the Edge, though.
