Critics Consensus

Bat! What We Do In the Shadows loses no steam in a smashing second season that savvily expands its supernatural horizons while doubling down on the fast flying fun.

me encanta la serie, ya lo he dicho y lo repito... excelente adaptacion.. me encantan los personajes, y el humor negro, picante y divertido.

Even better than season one. They really kicked the show up a notch with this second season and far surpassed the film.
  • Jul 14, 2022
This is one of my favorite shows... even better than the movie!!

What a way to continue a show. What We Do In The Shadows furthers its plotlines in the background while introducing new, hilarious stories and worldbuilding. The entire season builds to a seemingly inevitable and excellent climax.

Even through it's second season it still holds it's humor! If you enjoy SYFY comedies, this is a must-see! 10/10 would recommend this show!

Does not hold a candle to the film. Watch that instead, lament the fact that the Swearwolves sequel never got made, and leave well enough alone.
  • Nov 24, 2021
Very few shows make my stomach hurt of laughter; this is one of those shows.

Pretty darn good if you like the comedy style of the Office. I dont, but this particular cast and the accents they use make it work for me. This is probably the only show that uses that formula in a way that I like. Its really just a very long comedy skit, the improvisation is clear in many takes. It has a strange SNL feel while giving off a production set value of a netflix tv series. Costumes are great and the writing isnt bad either. The woman steals the show for me 90% of the time, my stupid human babys...
