Simultaneous storytelling takes viewers through compelling true-crime cases from dual perspectives. The audience steps into the shoes of two contrasting narratives to hear the recounts directly from the victims and criminals with never-before-revealed details. The viewers will play armchair detective to deduce and piece together different versions of the truth. There are two sides to every story -- and there's no telling how far one would go for their marriage, child or way of life. Every episode culminates by revealing key details from the adjudicated cases leaving viewers to question: "Who Do You Believe?"

The exploitative true crime series features people offering separate, and usually contradictory, accounts of misdeeds that were committed, and their individual roles in it. Go to Full Review

By playing to both sides of a crime, Who Do You Believe? loses the viewpoint that makes most true crime docuseries so fun to watch. Go to Full Review

Instead of a director or editors making accusations with their questions or editing, two people essentially just accuse the other. Each has volunteered to participate, which makes this whole exercise far less ethically problematic than typical true crime. Go to Full Review

05/13/2022 )Terrible! The best thing about true crime is that you're presented with information and the drama that goes with it. You try to solve the mystery and, with the exception of unsolved mysteries, you find out in the end who committed the crime. This show, though, is just two people trashing each other. He said she said stories that aren't even interesting. I felt like a couples therapist who was ready for retirement! 43 minutes later, the show is over and you aren't even told who was telling the truth and who wasnt. What a waste of 40 minutes!
