Rich Homie Quan
Born on October 4, 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia, Dequantes Devontay Lamar, known professionally as Rich Homie Quan, is an American rapper. Dequantes Lamar first considered a career in professional baseball, but in 2008, the Atlanta native issued the single "Stay Down," featuring the Stack Money Boyz. In 2012, Lamar's song "Differences" was released as the first single from his mixtape "Still Going In." In 2013, he toured with Trinidad James. In August 2013, "Type of Way" was released. On November 26, 2013, Quan released "I Promise I'll Never Stop Going." On April 1, 2015, Quan's song "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" and its music video were released on YouTube. Quan resumed releasing solo material in 2021, with the singles "Daily Bread" and "To Be Worried." Rich Homie Quan's EP "Family & Mula" was released in 2022. Rich Homie Quan died on September 5, 2024 at the age of 34.
