There's an undeniable appeal at its core - in its sincere approach to ridiculous concepts, in its resistance toward quipping at its own expense. Go to Full Review

Tron: Legacy is a fun popcorn flick if you had the opportunity to catch it on the big screen, but with the digital effects downsized on a DVD format what's good about the movie doesn't emit as much of an effect. Go to Full Review

“Tron: Legacy” isn’t perfect, but it’s the perfect “legacy sequel” (ha); understandable for new viewers and exciting for fans of the original. [Full review in Spanish]. Go to Full Review

“Tron: Legacy” proves that with so many examples of oppression in fiction and reality, this movie had to come from a special place to be thinner in its spin on an evil leader and his forces than the last season of “Game of Thrones.” Go to Full Review

Herbert N 01/09/2023 visually beautiful, but boring. See more matthias s 17h Tron: Legacy" lands squarely at 3 stars for me—better than the first, but still not the electrifying reboot I keep hoping for. I mainly pushed through because there’s a new sequel coming, and yeah, I was glad they brought Kurt Russell back… but that CGI/deepfake sheen? Yikes. Every time his face rubber-bands, I pop right out of the Grid. Still, you can totally feel Kosinski steering this thing: the direction is clean, confident, and borderline hypnotic. The soundtrack absolutely slaps, and the cinematography plus atmosphere hit "jaw-on-floor" levels. Aesthetically, it’s untouchable. But man—the story. Predictable beats, flat emotional swings, and stretches where I was genuinely bored. Gorgeous to look at, uneven to sit through. Dont forget to buy the soundtrack because its phenomenal See more Nov 18 A classic movie with stunning visuals and an incredible score! I still remember watching TRON: Legacy for the first time my jaw was on the floor the entire time. While the story itself isn’t particularly deep, the visuals and soundtrack more than make up for it. The characters are fascinating, and the father–son dynamic is something we definitely need to see more of in movies. The cast did an outstanding job portraying their roles, especially Michael Sheen as Castor, he was phenomenal! It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I truly believe TRON: Legacy is a great and underrated film. See more Emerson H @movielover9 Nov 16 Best Tron movie!!! I have no idea why critics didn’t like it, the soundtrack is amazing, the visuals are amazing, 9.2/10 See more Douglas H Nov 12 Great follow up to the original, and Daft Punk kills it with a masterful sound track. Watch it on the biggest screen you can find and crank up the volume! I would love to visit grid! My only complaint is the really bad CGI on Jeff Bridges, I wish they didn't do that, but other than that it's one of my favorite movies with a cool cyber punk vibe. See more Read all reviews
