W @Twinz1008 May 25 This one leans into the absurd, but if you’re in the right mood, it works. Robin Williams brings his usual chaotic energy, and while some of the humour is definitely over-the-top, there are a few genuinely funny and unexpectedly sweet moments tucked in. The premise is a bit ridiculous — pre-marriage bootcamp led by an unorthodox minister — but it sets up enough awkward situations and heartwarming resolutions to keep it engaging. Mandy Moore and John Krasinski have decent chemistry, and even when the plot stretches believability, the cast keeps it grounded. It’s not a film I’d rewatch regularly, but for a light, silly rom-com with some unexpected laughs, it’s worth a watch. Especially if you’re in the mood for something easy, mildly chaotic, and a little sentimental. See more dibanezparra May 3 The movie is simply unbearable. All the characters are unrealistic. See more Ella W 05/18/2023 This movie made me so indescribably, unfathomably mad. Every single character was absolutely insufferable. Moore's character is so self righteous. Williams' character is irredeemable. I understand the concept of making the characters fight and then fall back together, but it is done so awfully.
