      What to know

      Critics Consensus

Featuring one of Robin Williams' most shtick-heavy performances, the broad and formulaic License to Wed wrings little out of its slightly creepy, unappealing premise. Read critic reviews

The story sounded funny, but seeing her in the film is boring, absurd and poorly managed.

Hilarious... at times. The plot wasn't really that well thought out and you don't believe 'however unrealistic it would of been anyway' that that the vicar would get away with doing all of that stuff. I know it's supposed to be funny, but for me it was just ok. John Krasowski is gorgeous though and I love him as an actor!

Good Lord, where do I start? This is unoriginal, stupid, predicatble, annoying, tedious, and not very much fun. I admittedly laughed at least twice, but this movie is mostly an aggravating bore. What saves it from getting a worse grade is that I liked how four cast members from The Office appear here. That's probably the only inspired thing about this movie. Too bad not a whole lot is done with this though, such as through in some funny self referential nods to the show or something.
