Good action. A girl is kidnapped. Twists and surprises. Kidnapper contacts a detective and gets him involved as part of a game. Things go wrong when the little girl goes missing then the kidnapper was killed. But the situation spins off to a deeper plot.
Shocking start to the sequel to Kiss the Girls but it still has Alex Cross and a decent plot and pacing and the suspense is good. Has a couple nice little twist that make this worth the time investment.
3 of 5
another great movie for the amazing M.Freeman
What is all that claptrap on here about? This is a good, nay great, movie. Good plot, excellent acting, pacing, twists.. everything you could want in one of the type. Almost didn't watch it because of all the misguided reviews on here.
A stupendous job from amazing actor Morgan Freeman. Monica Potter is beautiful. The plot really gets going and was quite good. The only boring part was where the bad guy is calling from pay phones sending him on a wild goose chase. In this day and age, when there are no more pay phones, the chase was silly. Great ending. A good thriller, even if its 18 years old, it's better than a lot of what's on today.
Wow, this was really good. Morgan Freeman was his normal excellent self. This movie had several twists. I was fooled every time. The script was exceptionally well written.
Morgan Freeman is excellent in this but he is the only good character here with a weak and forgettable villain ultimately leading to this being a forgettable but average that is still worth watching movie.
Morgan Freeman and Monica Potter give great performances. And the movie has a great twist ending. But it doesn't have the greatness of Heat or Dirty Harry.
A weak script with some decent acting, I'd say there is something here to discover. Decent, just decent
The most unsatisfying plot twist I've ever experienced. I'd honestly rather watch The Howling 2 on repeat for 10 hours than even think of watching this again.
