Forced and unnecessary. This was a cash grab.
It's not as good as Analyze This but it's a solid effort.
You want to like it for De Niro and Crystal's charming chemistry and Ramis' usual brilliance, but this sequel doesn't deliver the laughs as often or make the case that the film was necessary to begin with.
Like most sequels Analyze that isn't on the same level as Analyze this despite the fact that all the principal actors and director return. Analyze That delivers its share of amusing moments, but, when it comes to inventive or inspired comedy, it is lacking. Analyze That is at its weakest when it wanders into dramatic territory, as when circumstances force Ben to come to grips with the powerful influence his dead father had upon his life. This part of the movie doesn't work, and serves largely to pad out the running length. For the most part, Analyze That is a genial and unremarkable comedy with its share of tepid laughs. Having said this if you liked the first film you will probably like this one as well. For fans of De-Niro who like to see their idol branch out this is a good film.(Nice sequel to Analyze this).
Terrible horrible cringe sequel starring the same people from the first movie. I'm officially done with this franchise.
Woeful sequel to the very funny Analyze this. The jokes don't work this time and the film becomes annoying.
They're back at it again. I'd say this is not a good example of a sequel, but a fun example. It's something to pass the time when u got nothing else better to do. 3/5, and the 3rd one is for the amazing film Score.
Nothing wrong with De Niro or Crystal , the script was just weaker then Analyze This ...still some good jokes and scenes but not fantastic ! SOMDVD
It's a weak sitcom premise stretched well beyond the breaking point. The first one wasn't very good, but at least it had mild charms and occasional laughs.
This is without a doubt one of the best comedy sequels I have ever seen. Robert DeNiro and Billy Crystal prove they still got the magic together that made the first one so watchable. And this is another DeNiro performance that proves why Deniro is my favorite actor, and that nobody beats him, nobody! and if you argue that, your setting yourself up to get whacked!
