Not like ending. You like ending? Blobbo guess no one like ending.
What an actress that little girl was, great movie.
Audrey Rose is a very sad movie. It wasn't marketed as a drama but as horror. However the acting and the direction they went with the story are more emotional. That isn't a bad thing. It works well.
Audrey Rose is a disappointing film. It is about a stranger who attempts to convince a happily married couple that their daughter is actually his daughter reincarnated. Anthony Hopkins and Marsha Mason give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Robert Wise did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
Audrey Rose was never really a straight ahead horror film and it remains a little different while playing up to a few of the stereotypes. Very 70s but not at all bad and worth a look for an early understated performance from Antony Hopkins.
Possession thriller of derivative hokum.
Robert Wise's Audrey Rose - near illustrious achievement. Great performances and camerawork. Robert Wise is by far one of the best filmmakers to ever live, and, while this isn't the best example of his genius, it's enjoyable for what it is.
just OK linda blair 'the exorcist" knock -off
If you want to see a horror movie with your mates, this isn't the one. But it is a pretty thought-provoking, disturbing film. I thought it wasn't going to be as entertaining/enjoyable before I watched it, but it was entertaining enough.
Despite its creepy atmosphere, Audrey Rose tries too hard to surpass the success of The Exorcist by borrowing key elements and destroying them along the way
