What really makes it stand out is how natural the comedy feels. Instead of relying on big punchlines, it builds humor through subtle moments, awkward interactions, and brilliantly timed reactions. The ensemble cast works seamlessly together, creating a series of memorable personalities without ever feeling forced. It’s also surprisingly sharp in how it observes human behavior, turning something simple into something consistently funny and engaging. It’s a mockumentary that’s more focused on letting the talented comedians portraying these dog handlers be talented and funny and showcasing their skills. So while the story doesn’t amount to much, you leave satisfied knowing that the characters you just watched are unforgettable. That’s the secret to a great comedic Mockumentary…let the funny people be funny and this film is LOADED with funny people. None more so than Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.
