Lá ela conhece Jack Quant, um matemático que fez carreira usando algoritmos para relacionamentos amorosos e acabam transando. Em outro final de semana, ela reencontra Mark Darcy e eles tem um revival. Algum tempo depois, Bridget descobre que está grávida mas não sabe quem é o pai da criança. Assim, em um momento de bastante confusão profissional e emotiva, ela vai levando a gravidez. Bridget Jones é um achado para Renée Zellweger, onde ela mostra todo o seu talento para a comédia, em uma personagem que se permite passar vergonha. É uma comédia romântica simpática valorizada por um roteiro divertido e um elenco preciso. Destaque para a Emma Thompson como a ginecologista e obstetra de Bridget, Uma boa diversão. See more Blu B @RT43513976 Sep 1 A Classic of the franchise. What an improvement from he second one. This actually attempts and for the most part succeeds at telling an original story, expanding the characters, and ideas while maintaining the spirit of the franchise and Jone's. The main trio are great. Dempsey is the best of the the three. Zellewegger does a good job but feels more tired here and not having the same spunky energy the other two had. Everyone else isn't bad. The editing isn't bad. The whole adventureland start feels a bit out of place to start and the love triangle that follows is a bit messy. The whole thing with her Mom running for public office feels pointless also. But to it's credit in the end it does tie the mystery together well and keeps us waiting right until the very end which was suprising. It also does a good job having commentary on single moms and middle age quite well. It's pretty solid overall. They also dialed back the humor compared to the ast time but it still isn't bad and gets laughs. The plot is also much more grounded in reality. It just needed to be a bit more consistent in the first half with setting everything up but again it does tie it all up well by the end. Anyone who is a fan of the franchise, the director, any actors here, or romcoms should check this out. Also, Emma Thompson is funny here too in a small role and makes it count.
