A quiet, tension filled and ultimately sobering film about an underground movement dedicated to locating and then bringing to justice Syrian war criminals. Adam Bessa is exceptional as our protagonist, doggedly searching to exact revenge for both national and personal reasons. Watched 9th Sept 2026

I was mildly familiar with Syrian civil war basics. But the movie was so engaging & effective that I went right home and did a deep dive on the history of the Syrian Civil War-- this additional research was very depressing unfortunately! I’m glad that in the end of the movie the rule of international law won out over extra-judicial justice!
