After a powerful storm damages their Maine home, David Drayton (Thomas Jane) and his young son head into town to gather food and supplies. Soon afterward, a thick fog rolls in and engulfs the town, trapping the Draytons and others in the grocery store. Terror mounts as deadly creatures reveal themselves outside, but that may be nothing compared to the threat within, where a zealot (Marcia Gay Harden) calls for a sacrifice.

On of the worst movie I have ever seen. Film is about a dumb decision followed by a dumber one. The ending is so predictable that you'll want to bang your head against the wall to forget it.

SPOILER ALERT!!! This is an interesting film. I really enjoyed the fact that the characters were stuck in a grocery store. That was cool. This movie also kind of explores the same themes that the book “Lord of the Flies” does: the decent of man into savagery and primitive state when resources are taken and humans live without the natures of everyday life. It worked there, and it works here. Seeing some of the stuff that the people in the store do to other people is wild! But possibly the best part of this movie is the end. Man, that ending is traumatizing!! The worst part of the movie to me is that the VFX feels very outdated and look pretty bad. But that’s a minor complaint. Overall, this movie is pretty good. It’s not absolute cinema, but it’s not necessarily bad either. It’s still worth watching though!
