This gives me childhood nostalgia, and watching this around Halloween is *inhales deeply* AMAZING!
I thought it would be good but the story and plot was actually distributing for a "kids" movie. Not a fan.
rewatched it for the first time in years and can say that it still is pretty enjoyable 13 years later.
A very underrated Halloween movie
This movie is very interresting. It's scary but that's what makes it special and if it wasn't, it's still an entertaining and fun kids movie.
This movie was great I loved it I definitely recommend it
a real horror for children, scary at the right point not to terrify them. Using the classic assumption of the old grumpy manage to embellish and enrich the plot so much that it makes it very interesting
Director Gil Kenan found a particularly effective style in this combination of motion capture and animation that resembles the aesthetics of stop-motion, inside a heavily funny and, at times, oddly emotional B-series homage-kids film, with all the great elements of the genre and the best an animated feature could deliver, with creativity and brains to craft a compelling story that kids and grown-up will enjoy equally, Monster House is a global achievement for indie-animated flicks.
It's like I understand more each time I watch it, it's so perfect.
Very good animated movie with a great story.
