The story of a perfectionist chef dealing with a laid-back new colleague and a family tragedy follows every predictable Hollywood formula and cliché. While the actors share a pleasant chemistry and the dishes look mouth-watering, the script offers nothing new. It is a perfectly average, safe way to pass the time—provided you’ve already had dinner. Sous chef Aaron Eckhart and Jones clash but warm up to each other after Eckhart impresses Abigail Breslin,her niece who she just gained guardianship of. When isn't Abigail Breslin adorable?
