Jack S @RT58840043 06/08/2025 It’s a tribute to this engrossing film that viewers can foresee the inevitable conclusion early on and yet still experience an emotional wallop during the reveal in the last act. I was drawn into the story of this damaged individual so completely that I didn’t register the “implausibility” mentioned by many of the critics. Hoss is simply unforgettable here as a holocaust survivor uncertain about learning the truth behind a betrayal. This film broke the contract between story and my believability. It never made any sense.
