Logan D @Greynomad38 6d In an authoritatian world ruled by male shoes, a high heel mother disguises herself as male to protect and raise her daughter. Wow! Warning to those who are sensitive to erratic visual effects. This one is pretty jarring on that front. This is a minimalist, experimental sci-fi using items taken from garbage cans to create a realm full of cigarettes smoking business shoes and cherries offered to the highest ranking members of society. It's brutal and gorgeous. Clearly a criticism of patriarchy and assigned gender roles, it stands unique in its presentation. The only film I know that compares to it is Mad God.
