01/05/2017 A dry and dull found footage flick. Basically two jump scares. Acting is good, and the jungle setting is cool, but nothing really happens. Similar to watching a hunting show, they walk, setup camp, embark on some night vision shenannagins, and repeat. If you liked 'The Reef' you can easily skip this one. The first two thirds of the movie aren't great but the last 20 minutes is what you want to see in a found footage film. Even so I can't help but be frustrated because of the BEYOND misleading box art on the DVD and the cop out ending. Honestly if this film cut a few scenes out and focused more on the "monster" I would've been more satisfied. I paid $9.95 for this at wal mart. Do I regret it? No not really I guess. Don't spend your money on it. See more 06/30/2014 It was a found footage film that follows a group of 4 into the Jungles of Indonesia to find the Javan Leopard.. They end up getting hunted by something that they don't realize is watching them.. Gripping and the dark scenes bring out paranoia and suspense. Not a high budget film. Delivers some scares and plays like a National Geographic documentary.
