Sequel teaches lessons on responsibility, cycle of life.
Almost good enough to let you forget it's a made-for-video generic fest!
A pleasant little story of no real consequence ... if you want a compelling story, you should go for the original.
Horrible sequel to a good kids movie, and the rest of the series just gets worse.
this is probably my 5th favorite out of the sequels
This was a really odd sequel. It's not bad, but it's just so completely different from the first. I think the fact that it was straight-to-video had something to do with it. The story was so-so, but it never got too campy which I liked. For kids movies, it's really fairly decent.
How sad that they decided to continue the series and make it everything the original avoided. Very poor songs, both lyrically and musially, are littered throughout. One song is pretty much just some guy saying "EGGS". We are also tortured with cheap cartoony sound effects and bumbling villains. What I loved about the first film was the coming of age tale. This film undoes all that and has the gang acting like some spoiled, idiotic brats. After being saved by their parents, because they were stupid and didn't listen in the first place, the quintet complain about being treated like kids. YOU JUST NEARLY DIED, and all because you DIDN'T listen. Why should they trust you. It makes the adorable characters from the first, a bit annoying. It's passable as entertainment and I'm sure the target audience wont complain, but this is one that parents may want to skip on.
