An ordinary LEGO figurine Emmet who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. I just watched this for the first time & really enjoyed it. I watched it in 3D which made the experience even better. I took my 10 year old nephew & he also liked it. It made us both want to go build Lego sets after we left the theater.

They don't make movies like they used to, only because it's an economically licensing nightmare. The conclusion was moreso a PR stunt from Lego to show unearned compassion however.

I would've loved it in 2-D so more details would've been visible, as so many scenes have such layers of depth to explore. How I would've loved to be able to pause moments of the film on that theatrical scene. What a fun adventure with a great lesson.
