This is boring, and it's partly that believability thing. How many alienated outsiders do you have to gather together before they become insiders? Alternatively, they are all so good-looking, smart and well-heeled, they are winners, surely. Go to Full Review

"Like real teenagers, Watson and Miller convincingly move from glowing objects of desire to comic relief to deeply troubled human beings." Go to Full Review

I think for a first film this guy who wrote the book and has adapted it for the screen has done a terrific job and I really found these characters sympathetic. Go to Full Review

In not following the status quo and for being more honest than angst-ridden, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is an extremely soulful and satisfying challenge for the normally fluffy or unrealistic high school setting of movies. Go to Full Review

It can sometimes be hard to watch a film adaptation of one of your favorite teenage books because, too often, they fail to live up to the brilliance of the page. Luckily, this was not the case for the 2012 adaptation... Go to Full Review

mono 5d One of my favorite all time movies, everyone’s acting is phenomenal, everyone knew what their role was and played it perfectly. Especially the actor for Charlie he embodied Charlie so well, the plot twist was pretty crazy. I could watch this movie a million times and never get bored it’s such a comfort and non comfort film. See more Ryleigh H @RT44483446 6d All my life I’ve spent it wondering if anyone actually understood me. And all my life I’ve been wrong about it being a who and not a what. This movie is indescribably beautiful. I’ve never felt more seen than when I watched this movie for the first time. Thank you. See more Isaiah A @RT46605526 Jul 15 A beautiful and well-made movie. I found myself really loving and attaching myself to the characters. It has a wonderful story that definitely made me sob more than one time. See more Emily B @Em1ly Jul 14 I'm a crybaby, like a big crybaby. I've seen the boy in striped pajamas and the grave of the fireflies, I cried a lot to them. The amount of tears I shed because of this movie cannot amount to how many I did with the other two movies I listed. It may be because I can relate to Charlie, the main character, in some ways. It has some of the best quotes that really made me think about things in a different way. I loved this movie, truly. My tears that have fallen and dried are prominent evidence of my love. See more Agatha V @tatathoughtofit Jul 11 This is my third time watching the film, and each viewing feels just as comforting as the first. There’s something about the warmth of its visuals, the grainy texture and nostalgic tones, that makes me feel safe, almost like revisiting an old memory. What I love most is that it doesn’t just portray Charlie’s dilemma, but also gives space to the struggles of the other characters. Each of them carries their own battles, and together they create a story that feels honest and deeply human. For me, this movie has become a kind of refuge. Whenever life feels overwhelming, I know I can return to it and find comfort in its warmth, its honesty, and its reminder that even in the hardest times, connection and healing are possible.
