Movie Info

Twelve-year old Jamie is one creepy kid. He has a perverse obsession with sex, his only friend is an evil teddy bear, and he's the only one who knows about the hole in the forest where he feeds raw meat to a ravenous pack of mutant troglodytes. But Jamie will teach them all a lesson, the kids who teased him, the mean old lady down the street, even his pretty new babysitter. Soon they - and his entire town - will face the flesh-eating horror of The Pit!

The 97-minute running time seems every bit of 20 minutes longer than the filmmakers were ready for.

Audience Reviews for The Pit

Pure Drive-In Movie, I was very surprised at the nudity and the age of the troubled boy, my guess he is supposed to be 11-12. And he still talks to his teddy. Please/. He finds some ape like creatures in a hole in the woods and starts feeding them meat, then humans, has fantasies about his teacher and baby sitter. Yet a trashy Drive-In second feature that I would have driven away from, and that takes a lot. 1 star

Terminally weird movie has a 'bad seed' who feeds his enemies to his new found friends, a group of prehistoric monsters he calls Trogs who live in a pit. A so-bad-it's-good favorite of mine.

Disturbing movie about a creepy boy named Jamie, who is preoccupied with sex, and has a teddy bear which tells him to do bad things. He pushes people down into a deep pit where little carnivourous creatures live. When the boy goes after his big-breasted babysitter, things get more disturbing. Me not like much!
