This is a very unique and interesting movie. I appreciated that there was no "hero" and "villain" exactly, just a lot of characters living their lives. The acting is wonderfully uncomfortable and the gore feels earned rather than gratuitous. The plot itself is engaging, mostly to see how the relationships between all the characters grow and change. Occasionally conflicts felt avoided rather than addressed which was distracting at times, but overall the film does a good job of building tension without feeling forced.

It's actually an interesting approach, very fresh look at vampires. The film spends a lot of time building tension and eventually releases it but there's a lot of time wasted.

I usually feel for the awkward weird kid . But this time it’s on him . He was way too weird. This was a sad coming of age movie for two kids with no parents who also have no friends . The one is full of depressing thoughts the other is obsessed with vampires and blood and horror movies . The chemistry between them was the highlight of the film . I appreciate the realness of the film 2.4
