It’s hardly an innovative or overly insightful documentary, but it does a fine job showcasing the efforts of all. Art, when open to constant interpretation, can indeed be timeless. Go to Full Review

Graham B @RT03145080 11/16/2024 Very disappointing. This is a reimagining of the album and is very different and not as good. It sounds very different. I actually found the video boring. I think if the album had sounded like this it would not have sold well. See more Simon T @Bucksplit 11/09/2023 Oh dear. This well-intentioned but horribly misconceived 50th anniversary concert version of Mike Oldfield's famous album is all over the place, and - at the last minute - even waterlogged too, as the elements flood the Festival Hall and threaten cancellation. No-one seems to be in charge and the performance is eventually hijacked by an Australian circus act who spend the hour throwing themselves around or climbing over themselves for no apparent reason. The whole thing is pretty toe-curling, and Oldfield himself wisely stayed away. Personally, I prefer Tubular Bells 2, so maybe I'm biased. See more Bradley B @underblob 01/20/2023 Drew is my friend. He is fun. See more Read all reviews
