Thomas R @RT78476355 Apr 21 This is worth a watch for the touching camera movements following this woman who goes through all the stages of a divorce, post-divorce including intense cold rage, sadness, drunkenness, and cha-cha dance classes. There is a humanity in how the director lets the spectator observes the characters with the husband struggling to close his suitcase, the difficult conversations with the kids, a memorable family lunar year dinner, all of which offer - for my unaccustomed Western eyes - glimpses of the day-to-day life in Hong Kong. I wish the main character had gone dating the jovial cartoon seller instead of unexplainably went back caring for her cheater ex-husband, but I guess that would have been a bit too predictable. Wonderful performance by Cecilia Yip whose intensity can be stressful at times but seeing her relaxing while taking dancing classes or looking at fish in plastic bags through the electric night lights are like little freedom respirations.
