This was greeted with savage reviews upon its initial release, but it's actually one of the better Mandy Moore movies, one of the better Nicholas Sparks adaptations, and one of the worthier faith-based flicks.

Better liked by the people than the critics. I enjoyed it. Mandy Moore plays a high school senior who is shunned by others because she seeks to live by her Christian faith. She and her father lost her mother years earlier, and her father has very strict standards for her. As a pastor of a local church, he is highly protective of his daughter. A popular classmate becomes interested in her, but her father doesn't want her to have anything to do with him, although the boy is a member of his congregation. There are some pieces to the story that would ruin it for you if revealed. Watch and enjoy it yourself.

This movie is a masterpiece. It starts off with a fascinating start which leads you to think it might be a horror movie but the dialogue and the characters are so fun and of the time. Also Landon’s drip was fyre and the car is one I wish I had the red with the stripes. The cast works very well together with a sweet dad and a cute wholesome Christian light. I love to see a movie with good values and cute romance with less sexual motives so it focuses on sweet and gentle love and teaches our generation on what’s love. Also having a black best friend who also grows as a character from a comedic relief to a more nicer loyal friend was sweet. We don’t get to see enough of this content and the y2k homeliness makes you sleep well at night let’s be so fr. Anyways this will be a walk to remember for sure especially because Jamie’s love was like the wind 💜💐🥲
