Craig Y @RT80955206 Sep 17, 2026 Very funny. Awkward conedybtagtsbrelatable to anyone in the movie industry and especially those trying to make it. Great performances and very much like a Christopher guest meets curb your enthusiasm type film. That spa scene and the play seen had me out. See more Anj K @RT79382095 Sep 16, 2026 Funny, sharp and heartfelt. *Wannabe: All Washed Up* has a lot of fun with fame, ego and the desperation to stay relevant in the age of influencers and "the algorithm". Craig Robert Young is hilarious and completely commits to the crazy, but really like that there’s warmth underneath it too, and I love Adam Huss's sneaky character. Such an entertaining indie comedy. See more Lee E @Elf11 Sep 16, 2026 Hilarious! The mockumentary style kind of reminds me of The Office - a perfect hybrid of both the British and American versions. It brilliantly highlights all the ridiculous rigmaroles an actor (or really anyone with aspirations) has to go through in Hollywood. Sharp, witty and painfully relatable, with plenty of cringe moments and a wonderfully self-aware take on fame and show business in general. Definitely worth a watch! See more helena B @LanieHB Sep 16, 2026 Not what I was expecting at all! The acting is great! I laughed a lot! See more CJ J @RT69840865 Aug 31, 2026 If you like mockumentaries like "Waiting for Guffman", "This is Spinal Tap", or "Best in Show", this one is definitely for you. "Wannabe: All Washed Up" looks at those who simply aren't willing to acknowledge reality and move on to the next thing, even when patently obvious that yes, IT'S TIME. There is SO incredibly much to make fun of in the movie business these days, and this film takes every opportunity to do so, exposing the ridiculousness and naivety required to keep the facade alive. Lots of fun work by the actors and the writing will keep the chuckles and guffaws constant through it's hour-and-a-half run time. See more Matteo S @giulio_sacchi Aug 26, 2026 Fresh. A comeback story that's as big-hearted as it is excruciating — in the best way. Wannabe: All Washed Up drops a delusional washed-up pop star into the age of influencers and algorithms and lets the comedy build without ever forcing a punchline. Craig Robert Young makes Steve genuinely lovable even at his most oblivious, and the satire cuts because it's true. Fans of Christopher Guest and Curb Your Enthusiasm will feel right at home. Smart, sharp, and a whole lot of fun. See more Read all reviews
