It's not Statham's best film and it certainly could have gone a bit deeper but overall there's enough here to satisfy action fans.
Terrible R rated film, bad script and disappoint action film.
Who would have thought that a movie with both Statham and Li would be this boring?
It's good movie to watch
I forgot if this was called War or Rogue Assassin,
When I saw it 3 yrs ago It said Rogue Assassin,
The Fighting was dull it couldn't bare to strike many purposes threats to any of the film content, there were so many lousy action scenes and I can't imagine it can be that crap, There was no Ambitious Radar to the fatality of this film, The story is all over the places it's another Marschallats film this was created and known to be Boring! That's all it needs to be said.
It was going to be lower, but at a certain point in the movie, a lot of my earlier script questions were answered, though it failed to truly deliver at the very end.
Jet Li goes down the Yojimbo/Fistful of Dollars route as he plays the Triads and Yakuza off each other and it is very bland in the process. Some decent action but I just wanted to stick on The Killer after watching it.
A great crime action film starring jason statham and jet li. The story is about statham tracking down his partners killer and avenging the murder. A great story and is not you're typical revenge cop film, there are twists and turns that have you questioning the killers motives and how will they catch him. A great film with a huge twist.
This is a Rush Hour inspired team gone wrong, hard-core and to the dark side, an excessively bloody, relatively cliché, good-guy-gone-rogue revenge movie. Yeah, the bad guys are really nasty, ugly, tattooed, immoral, and evil to the core. They kill with abandon and impunity. Life means noting to them; they're scary and dangerous. But guess what? The good guys have that same gene, and Mr. Rouge is here to prove it because he's going to kill ALL the evil dudes with impunity! Except for those who remind him of why he went rouge in the first place: mother and daughter. Yes, those he will let live, but it is this "weakness" that almost gets him killed. And in the end he's gone too much to the dark side and ends up living there the rest of his revenge-laden life. Any questions? Nothing really interesting going on here in plot, character development, etc. If you like nasty, then this one's for you. But both Li and Statham have made much better films. You can avoid this one without missing much in your overall movie viewer experience.
This movie is so good!! It has two huge twists in a five minute period. Don't listen to the negative reviews; if you like Jason Statham, watch this movie!!
