This sequel to the hit comedy, "Wayne's World" focuses on the attempts of Wayne and Garth to organize Waynestock, a gigantic rock festival. Trouble comes, however, when a sleazy music executive begins to woo Wayne's girlfriend with promises of fame and fortune, and Wayne must attempt to win her back.

Wayne's World 2 is a sequel that may not offer new things to the public that hasn't seen the first and it may not be as great as the former, but still it is pretty darn entertaining and fun.

It's not as funny as the first but i'm giving it the same star rating as 2 stars felt too low, Just like the first it's silly but it works, The first half of the film was very good but the second half felt rushed and the jokes became stale, It's still a good but under appreciated comedy.

More of the same. It works really well in some regards, but in others... ehh.

OK average sequel. Now that Mike Myers and Dana Carvey moved out and continue to do their free show, they are still bunch of slackers. Tia Carrere is been woo and sign contract with Christopher Walken. Mike try to make her father James Hong accept him and they have a fight. The sequence with them talking in Cantonese and using bad dubbing is rather funny. Mike get weird dream he talk to Jim Morrison and now he organize Waynestock concert. Mike do detective work and think Tia and Christopher are together and he breaks up with her. Kim Basinger takes a liking for Dana while they are at the laundry. No band has sign up and no ticket sold for the concert. He continue the dream and he find a legend Ralph Brown to help him set up the concert. Just when things are going smooth, James tell Mike that Tia is marrying Christopher. He left the concert to whisk Tia away and succeed. They arrive in time and can't do anything. Aerosmith arrives and bring the crowd high. Waynestock is a success.

I can see why many viewers and critics did not appreciate Waynes World 2 like they did the original, as it lacked the novel feel of its predecessor. Still, Waynes World 2 retained the charm of the first and compensated the originality of the first film with more jokes mocking itself, and lots of surprising cameos.

Same type of movie you got with the first one, but still a natural and welcome continuation of the story. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one; it's really that simple.

The other only hilarious SNL movie.

This movie really didn't need to be made. Not anywhere near as funny and interesting as the first one.

Admittedly, the jokes in this sequel were a little dull for my liking. The first managed to deliver humour on a wittier note, and the sequel occasionally falls flat. Some excellent cameos and the lovable duo returning highlighted this film. To be fair, the plot is incredibly unique and intentionally silly, and the while the script is not always humourous, it is clever and profound. It's difficult to deliver a strong sequel and conclusively, they've managed it. Excellent.

Boring sequel to a dumb but somewhat entertaining original. Ages 10+

Not as good as the first one, but it is still funny and entertaining.

This film is not as clever as its predecessor but it's even more wacky and still quite funny.

Still watchable, but doesn't really live up to the laughs of the first one.

Still fun the second time around but this time it's a bit and miss. Continues on with the timeline just a couple of months after the film. Characters are still cool to see develop and have fun. Christopher Walken is a cool villain, just wished they could've used now of him and Aerosmith rules as the band in the film. My big main problems are again the OK storyline and the jokes are more hit and miss this time around.
