02/02/2020 This documentary was thought provoking, intense, and inspiring. It follows the beginning of a vital movement following the murder of Mike Brown by police. It's important to view firsthand accounts from people at ground zero. National news didn't portray the movement the way it should have. So this documentary put the spotlight on what was really happening in Ferguson, MO during this time. The movie was refreshing and encouraging. There is alot of work still left to be done. And it's a terrific reminder of "what democracy looks like!" Those who should see it probably will not. It is a beautifully edited and warmly human account of people who had had enough of injustice and stood up to it in a struggle that continues. If that makes you uncomfortable then you are part of the problem. This documentary chronicles the grass roots movement to protect the people of Ferguson, Missouri from the people sworn to protect the people. A documentary that allows the audience to form their own opinion based on real events. This film takes its viewers into the deep, dark; places people fear to go.
